Unplugged power cord. Removed bottom front panel. Removed lint trap. Unscrewed top of dryer and tilted it out of the way to access front panel. Unscrewed and removed front panel. Removed dryer drum. Cleaned inside of dryer compartment, wiring harnesses, motor and gas valve assembly. Used emory cloth wrapped around a screwdriver to clean metal clip that holds igniter. Installed new igniter. Reassembled all components except bottom front panel. Plugged in power cord. Ran dryer and observed igniter functions properly. Installed bottom front panel.
