Heater element functions, so safety thermostat must "shut off" heat too soon. For a GE washer/dryer space saver be prepared to remove rear & top panel to remove dryer "drum". Then replacing safety thermostat and vacuum years of lint & fuzz & put it all back together. The drive belt was frayed so be prepared to replace this as well.
