William O Hobe Sound , FL August 12, 2019 Appliance: Kenmore Range 91193498991 The handle on the oven door broke off I, William’s mom, broke the handle so I felt responsible for the repair. I’m 60 years old and not too mechanically inclined! I called your customer service number and the very nice guy, who was taking my order, was the most helpful young man! He helped me understand what parts I should need and the order arrived EXACTLY as I was expecting!!! A few YouTube videos and I was able to remove the oven door and put the new handle back on... however I didn’t have the strength to get it back on the stove! My son can take it from here tonight. The hinges have locks and they have to go in a certain way in order to function properly. I’m just not strong enough to handle it and this part of the repair requires some manhandling. The CSR also explained the process so YouTube was just a checklist sort of thing. Thank you Appliance Parts Pro for your courteous and professional service team!! Ray F Honolulu , HI October 13, 2022 Appliance: Kenmore Range 91195291991 Plastic handle end caps broke. I did not realize that the screw has a torx head. I had to leave and retrieve one. Brenda G Costa Mesa , CA November 19, 2017 Appliance: General Electric Electric Range JBP25WY4 My oven door handle was cracked for several years. I realized I could just order a new handle and wait to replace my oven when I could afford to. I found the model number and was able to order the parts I needed. Installation took only a few minutes by a friend (I don't think I could have done it by myself). The screws were star tipped and needed a special allen (sp?) wrench. Read More... Steven C Colorado Springs , CO January 27, 2015 Handlecap was broken I bought two handlecaps and a few screws. I ended up not needing the screws because they were fine on the unit. However, everything went well. I just removed two screws on the inside of the door, which open up the door front. Then replaced both handles and reassembled it. It was wise to purchase both handlecaps because when I took off the second one I found it was mostly broken too. Read More...
