How to Troubleshoot & Replace Ge AP4355888 / WD08X10075 Dishwasher Lower Door Gasket

Using the videos that were supplied on the Appliance Parts Pros website I was able to determine the source of the water and successfully replace the failed part. I also looked at some of the other videos and soon discovered that my filter screen was also clogged and the outlet was totally blocked which was another easy fix once I followed the video instructions. While at it I decided to also replace the tub seal and door gasket as well. All told, approximately $80, one hour of time including time to watch the video and my dishwasher is performing like new! 

Replaced the door seal. The model dishwasher did not have a lower door seal, so I will be returning it. The video was great. Thanks 

On the main seal removed the old seal and put the new one on. On bottom door seal I took the door apart and removed the old seal and replaced with the new seal. 

Replace gasket 

Had to remove front panel from door. The 2 bottom screws were really difficult to remove and were not anything like the video described. I was finally able to remove the panel and pried the bottom of the door up with a piece of wood. Both sides were really tight but I was able to slide the gasket through the bottom and it was a perfect fit. Using needle nose pliers was required to pull the old gasket out and also to insert the new one in.

Bought and installed the bottom door seal, leaked stopped. 

Purchased replacement bottom door seal. Removed 10 screws which held outer door facia in place, then closed the door. Removed 2 lower screws on inner door, then opened door. Then gently pried up lower edge of plastic frame and fit a small block of wood to hold it in place. Next, using needle nose pliers, grabbed old seal and pulled it out. You have to angle it to clear the door hinge. Installed new seal. Reinstalled and no more leak. 

I replaced a worn gasket on the door. Dishwasher leak is gone. 

Replaced the bottom door gasket and the tub gasket
