Frank B Kirkville , NY September 23, 2017 Broken dryer belt 1st time user of Appliancepartspros.com. My dryer belt broke one night. Never had a dryer apart before but with your video help I took it apart in no time and confirmed my broken belt. Went on your web site, plugged in my model#, found my belt and also ordered a bearing and bushing kit as well. FAST shipping !! I had my parts from your warehouse in 2 days. And the replacement parts you sent me weren't cheep Chinese garbage, they were ACTUAL G.E. made in USA replacement parts. Needless to say everything went back together as it should. For less than 50 bucks and 45 minutes of my time, I have a dryer good as new again.Thank you. Read More... Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 30-60 minutes Tools: Nut Drivers, Screwdrivers

D Dwayne D New Braunfels , TX July 21, 2017 Appliance: General Electric Electric Dryer DDE7900MCL Drive belt broke & slides were worn Used small star drive (torx) and 5/16" socket... Removed screws securing the front of the top panel, then hinged back. Removed two inside bolts to remove the front panel, that has slots that rest on a screw at the bottom...they just slip off the the bottom after the top screws are removed. The drum lifts forward and up, because the belt was broken, so nothing was holding it down. I then replaced the slides with a socket wrench, because they are up front and easy to get to with the drum off. I looped the drive belt around the drum, and placed the drum back in place. On my model I had to remove the small back panel to access the belt pulley drive and belt-tension pulley. I looped the belt around the motor drive, then ran the belt around the tension pulley. Closed everything up...started the dryer... runs smooth and quieter than before. Read More... Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: Less than 15 minutes Tools: Screwdrivers, Socket Set
