How to Troubleshoot & Replace Ge AP5948588 / WR12X22183 Smooth Handle Kit

Ordered a new set of handles from AppliancePartsPros.com 

First I called the store where we bought it because we have an extended warranty, which we paid extra for, of course. Surprise - not covered under warranty! After banging my head on my desk for a few minutes, I googled the part and located Appliancepartspros. Easy, peasy lookup on their website revealed the part. I took a deep breath and ordered the part. It arrived just when they said it would and was the perfect part/fit. Will forgo the extended warranty on future appliances and just order any parts I need from Appliancepartspros.com. Thanks so much. You guys are the best. 

Screwdriver…..Frige like new 5 mins max 

Using my model number, I searched the internet for a replacement. AppliancePartsPros was not the first I found, but it was the least expensive. I liked the fact that an actual photo was shown as well as the illustrated repair parts diagram. I ordered the part at 6:30pm and had it at 9:30am the next day. I was floored. Things just don't move that fast in this rural end of the state. Replacement took under five minutes using a Philips head for the top two screws and a star driver for the one lower screw. There was a cover for the lower exposed screw, something that was omitted on the original purchased at HD. I book marked this site and will definitely use it again if (or when) I need another appliance part.

Just ordered it and replace the broken ones 

The refrigerator is only 3 years old but... it is not manufactured anymore. The handle we purchased was a perfect fit and took less than 5 minutes to make the refrigerator look good a new. Thank you for making this such an easy fix!
