How to Troubleshoot & Replace Ge AP3203326 / WB17T10006 Surface Burner Terminal Block Kit

The fix involved replacing the burnt out parts listed above. Although I can buy these parts through the GE website, I find a better deal and service with AppliancePartPros. In addition I replaced the feeder fires for the other 8" element as well as the element terminal block. The 8" elements get a lot of use, and the cheap plastic terminal blocks don't last. 

Cut back and insulated affected wires & reset breaker restoring remainder of oven. Ordered parts. Replaced burnt socket / wiring. Replaced drip pans to give oven new look. 

I am a 53 year old mom with little experience fixing appliances and, after watching the repair video on this site, I felt fully confident that I could replace the shorted out receptacle on my stove. Bought new electric terminal block kit wiring component and new surface element burner installation was very easy after we watched demonstration on how to do the wiring..works like a new stove and really was super easy do it......we figured by doing it ourselves we saved around $200.00 in service call. installation and marked up parts....we received the parts we ordered super fast 

I ordered a terminal kit saw a video of how to install it.I did not know if I could do it my self.I really needed this to function so I tried and it works great.thanks that video helped me a lot. 

Replaced the terminal block. The Terminal Block Kit I ordered from Appliance Parts Pros was just what I needed at a great price. The part was better than a terminal block I bought before at a local parts store.
