How to Troubleshoot & Replace Ge AP3203326 / WB17T10006 Surface Burner Terminal Block Kit

Turned Range circuit breaker off. Disconnected defective terminal and wires. Replaced with new terminal block and wires. Pulled range away from wall to connect new wires to circuit panel. Easy fix. 

I called appliance parts pros customer service, very helpful, with in a couple minutes the rep had found the parts I needed the blocks with wires and a infinite switch for the back burner. The parts came the next day. Thanks to the how to video I had watched the night before on Appliance parts Pros website, I had the stove pulled out, unplugged and putting the parts on, the job was very easy, made even easier by Appliance parts pros professional service and helpful how to videos. Order a new one and replaced the old one. Very easy and fast 

Replaced 2 terminal blocks, because another started acting up and also a infinite switch. I spoke with a customer service repair specialist on a Sunday and I had to order the infinite switch because the burner that was now working wouldn't turn off and also the burner light still remained on. Replaced the switch in less than five minutes and now it works perfectly. Thank you Terry for all of your support. 

It was very simple to fix. I pull the Range out and remove the back panel off then unplug the wires. remove the old one out and just plug the new one in. Then close back panel back. then it is done. 

Bought wiring for burner. It arrived quickly and was the perfect and complete part. 

I had already removed the terminal block with a nut driver previously to see what had gone wrong. This required turning off the electricity at the Master Control Box and removing the metal clip that attached to the cook top element. It was obviously damaged, so I used a small screw driver to release the old terminal clips to the cook top element. From that it was easy to identify the parts I needed for repair. I was pleased that my order was at my door step within just few days. The rest went quickly. I turned off the electricity at the Master Control Box, slid the stove away from the wall, and disconnected the floor pug (just in case). With directions in hand from Appliance Parts Pros, I reconnected the new parts in a matter of minutes. They were a perfect match. Everything is back together and functioning perfectly. Thanks for the speedy delivery and the excellent instruction sheet. 

I unplug the power cable, Remove burner element and raised cooktop. Next I removed the terminal block clip screw. I then removed the back panel to gain access to the wires. I disconnect and remove the defective part and installed the new parts, back panel, lower top, replace element and check for level. Plug in power cable and turn on burner. Burner work great and I save $175 by replacing the part myself. Part cost $10.00 

Replaced two top elements & on,off switch & terminal block kit 

Ordered new 8" heating element, 8" burner bowl & terminal block kit. Installing the new terminal block was pretty easy once you prop the range top up to get at the wires and brackets and switch terminals. All parts worked and the right front burner is as good as new.
