How to Troubleshoot & Replace Ge AP2021472 / WB17X210 Terminal Block Kit

Replaced both parts. 

Replaced the burner plug in socket. 

After looking at the parts diagram I figured out how to take apart the stove control panel which was very easy. I ordered two terminal blocks and changed them both, only thing was the wires were longer than what I needed so I had to tie wrap them in the control panel. I put everything back together and it works like it was new. Tiffany your customer service rep was very helpful when I gave her my model number which had a zero in the middle of the model number and not to use it. GE apparently puts the zero in to confuse people looking for parts. Thank you Tiffany for your help. Ken New Britain, CT.

I looked forever. The price here for the original replacement was to expensive. Others had use a splice in repair that did not set well with me. I called a local repair parts store and they were just going to sell me the slice in stuff. So I looked it up and it was NOT recommended to use that, being unsafe and not to use on my old Hi Point Stove. I was in a local home improvement store when I seen the slice in unit. Wire gauge was small AND the clip for the burner was different and doubt if it would even work. After dwelling a week or two, I ordered the repair parts here and paid a little extra for quicker delivery. After reading some reviews, I was a little nervous about parts being in stock and/or if I was wasting more dollars for the speedy delivery. It was here in two day just like they said. And parts were great. AAA+ I do recommend............. Have not cooked with it yet, but I did heat up the burners and all was great there. I'll update if I am able to if things don't work out. 

I replaced the socket with a new one. Appliance Parts Pros sent the right one. Easy fix. 

I ordered both the control and the terminal block since I wasn't really sure which was bad. 

Replaced terminal block, took ~ 10 minutes including the time to pick up the tools and turn off the power
