How to Troubleshoot & Replace Ge AP2044414 / WE4M181 Cycling Thermostat

Replaced timer--took less than 5mins. Heating problem was solved with a new dryer gas valve coil kit. Problem solved. I tested the machine and didn't need to replace the cycling thermostat. 

Checked for the problem replaces that part along with some parts as preventive maint app made it easy parts for perfect and were shipped very fast app is the only place to buy parts great place 

Watched your “How To” videos and the remedies to the issues. Dryer is great condition for well over 10 years old, so I decided to attempt repairing it. Took about 45 minutes and everything was repaired. Powered things up and works just like new.. Thanks for saving me the costs of a repair service. Replaced cycle thermostat. Exactly how the video showed. Very impressed. 

Do not have all the parts 

I put in the new thermostat. 

Replaced cycling thermostat and two limit switches. 

I replaced the gas valve coils and cycling thermostat and the dryer now dries all loads properly. I replaced all 3 since I had the unit already apart and also thoroughly cleaned and lubricated the dryer as well. 

Replaced thermostats 

I replaced the thermostat with help from videos. Getting the dryer put back together was harder than anything else. Dryer is elevated due to garage flooding during hard rains so that didn't help but my son did help me. I just added at least 2 more years or more to the life of my dryer that was purchased in 2012.
