How to Troubleshoot & Replace Ge AP2042618 / WE4M216 Dryer Cycling Thermostat

Tested the old t-stat with ohm meter. When shaken, the contacts would open. Replaced it with new t-stat and it works fine now. Thanks!

I called you and was told it was a thermostat gone bad. I order the parts you suggested and they arrived much faster than I ever expected. I watched your youtube instruction video and followed the directions and "VOILA", my dryer is working again! Thank you so much Appliance Parts Pros!!! You are Real Pros!! 

After reviewing online complaints I decided to take the advice I read. This thermostat appears to have corrected the problem. It's only been 3 days since the repair, but the dryer had several loads to catch up on the laundry !

With help from your excellent technical staff they suggested replacing the "Cycling Thermostat". And through your excellent help videos I was able to replace the thermostat and fixed the dryer. Needless to say, I am extremely happy with the service I got from ApplianceParts Pros. Thanks
