How to Troubleshoot & Replace Ge AP3993829 / WB16K10062 Vision Burner

Replaced surface burner and burner cap assembly. 

I thought I was doing the right thing. Pinterest told me I could. But as I turned out while the caps of my burners did beautifully, the silver (painted?) part did not. Thankfully appliance parts pros had replacements in stock and my genuine GE parts arrived the next day! It was nice to limit my embarrassment to less than 24 hours this time.... 

Replaced original with Vision Burner XL and Burner Cap Assembly. Thank you. 

Replaced burners and their caps. 

Replaced both the burner and the burner cap. Took less than a minute and the problem was solved. Great to have a correct flame again! 

Replaced burner 

Easy, took the burner off ,replaced it with the new one and installed the 2 new caps. Piece of cake. 

I bought a new part from you. 

Replaced the burner and burner plate and now the flame is nice and blue and there is no longer soot on our pans. 

Replaced the handles on my stove and replaced the burner that was not firing correctly.
