Roger L Bend , OR April 29, 2017 Appliance: General Electric Microwave SCA1001KSS02 Our microwave was sparking around the lazy susan The only thing that I could figure after cleaning the metal lazy susan and the inside of the microwave was to look at the Wave Guide Mica cover. It was darkened a bit but didn't seem to bad so I sent for a replacement anyway thru Appliance Parts pros.com. I put the new one in, took me all of one minute. Remove a phillips screw and slide the old one out and put the new one in and replace the screw, It was fixed, no more sparking. Read More... ADVANTIUM OVEN MODEL #SCB2001FSS 02 Mica waveguide shield became brittle and shattered I purchase a pre-cut waveguide mica cover from AppliancePartsPro.com for a very reasonable price. Upon delivery, I unpackaged the product and quickly discovered that it would require a minor trimming and puncture a new mounting screw hole. After which, I installed the product within minutes.
