We needed to replace the cams and the gasket retainers. The gasket retainers were broken where the cam is held on by the top screw. The design is such that it would likely immediately break again. So we decided to install a longer screw at the bottom of gasket retainer, pushing the metal rod up through the cam and into the top cylinder previously occupied by a screw. This required drilling a larger diameter hole in the cam to accommodate the rod. Then we applied glue to the cam joint to further strengthen. We used a plastic compound that is cured by a blue LED. So far, so good.
