How to Troubleshoot & Replace Lg AP5604533 / 3551JJ1069C Crisper Cover

Couldn't have been easier. Got my model number from fridge. Ordered the part. And with the help of repair video and other customers comments I went to work on the installation. The video was the key as there was a hidden screw. That would have been a real headache as getting your head in the freezer to look at what you're dealing with is difficult. I kick myself for paying big bucks for a repairman last time I needed this done. 

Swapped it out with a new one 

The part snapped into other parts easily. 

Bought new cover 

Watched the video and it was easy. No problem at all for a 74 year old female with her adult daughter. 

We replaced it with a new Crisper Cover. 

I was seriously thinking about replacing my refrigerator. We decided we only needed to replace some broken parts. Good decision. It took about 5 minutes and my refrigerator is like new. 

I was able to easily search our refrigerator model and locate the broken shelf which needed to be replaced. It arrived quickly and was a perfect fit. The plastic is a thinner quality than the one originally part of the refrigerator. The replacement shelf also was missing the digital printing which came on the original indicating the direction of the air flow for the type of produce. Otherwise an excellent fit. The glass fit in perfectly as well as the brace. Hopefully this piece will last the lifetime of the unit. 

I ordered the shelf frame from AppliancePartsPros and watched their installation video. Very easy to install and the video was very helpful. 

Removed the old one and replaced with the new one. Vertmy simple.
