Cleaned the gasket retaining pocket and the surrounding area. Installed the new gasket by pressing into the slot (remember the orientation of original gasket - lip/flat pointing inward). Work it into place by pushing it into retaining slot. Then recheck to see it is all the way in. I ordered the parts Spring and rope parts for each side and when I got them 2 days later I put them in. Not a big deal.
