How to Troubleshoot & Replace Lg AP4437203 / 3920DD3005A Door Gasket

Gasket replacement was diagnosed by a technician and then I easily installed it. / Before that I had replaced the vent fan assembly, which internet had said was most common reason for this model leaking small amount from left bottom corner of door 

Bought a new seal, pulled out the old seal, and pushed in the new seal. It was very easy to replace. It took only a few minutes. 

Removed the old gasket (it was coming apart). Cleaned the gasket retaining pocket and the surrounding area. Installed the new gasket by pressing into the slot (remember the orientation of original gasket - lip/flat pointing inward). Work it into place by pushing it into retaining slot. Then recheck to see it is all the way in. 

Only partially filled with water for the wash cycle. Replaced the inlet valve and works fine now. The door also leaked. Replaced the door gasket and the leak has stopped. 

Ordered and replaced inner and outer door seals. Was real easy just pop the new ones in place. 

Just follow the video on replacing a dishwasher door seal. 

Followed your instructions in video. 

Just replace the new gasket and solve the problem.

I went on line and found Appliance parts Pro and saw the dishwasher I had and read others who had same problem. I ordered the parts Spring and rope parts for each side and when I got them 2 days later I put them in. Not a big deal. When doing it just be careful putting the unit back in I damaged the drain line and then after a small flood had to repair that also.
