How to Troubleshoot & Replace Lg AP5602285 / MDS47123605 Gasket

Bought a new gasket and installed it. I am fairly handy but it was not an easy task. More than one swear word during the task. 

Took the one out with the small hole and replaced it with a new one. I actually had a handyman come do it, as it was above my head. Took us about 30-45 minutes. The hardest part was getting the gasket's wire clamps that have to go around the bellows back in. 

Watched the Video on the website which made the job so easy. 

Replaced boot. 

I got the parts I ordered, the next day no problems there. They were the exact parts I needed. The job was pretty straightforward. The tub seal ring needed two people to get the tension springs back on. While the machine was apart I cleaned everything that I could. The old tub seal ring was pretty nasty looking with that black stuff on it. Now everything is running fine. I couldn't be happier. I highly recommend AppliancePartsPros!
