How to Troubleshoot & Replace Lg AP5675948 / AEQ72910411 12 Cube Icemaker

Went online to find out troubleshooting steps that resulted in an error code that said the ice maker had failed. Viewed several videos online, ordered a new one, and replaced it. It works like a charm. 

Ordered a replacement from Appliance Parts Pros and installed it. 

Replaced ice maker assembly. 

Watched a couple videos on you tube then knocked it out. Took bout 30 minutes, not being in hurry. 

Replaced unit, installation was a snap which took only fifteen minutes! The replacement part arrived ahead of promised date. Thanks! 

We had disconnected the actual ice making unit and then we were filling ice bin manually so we could still dispense from the door. That got old so ordered the correct LG ice maker portion, watched a You Tube video and had no problems installing the replacement. Done in ten minutes or less!

A call was made and I talked to a very nice salesman. He took all of my information and told me the cost and ship time. It was shipped immediately and my husband installed it using a youtube video as a guide. 

Replaced with new ice maker. Had a little problem removing ice maker. If I had watched a you tube video first it would have been a snap. New unit went in in about 5 minutes, works perfectly. Bought repair part, quick and easy repair with a single screwdriver! 

Successfully accomplished with a minimal amount of tools required.
