Katie November 11, 2024 for Model Number LFx25974st/07 I ordered OEM22703794 (ice maker) but the wiring harness in the new ice maker is smaller (same number of pins - just smaller size wiring squares) than the wiring harness in the freezer itself.

Don July 28, 2024 for Model Number LFXS24623W/00 There is water dripping into the bin because the cubes at top freeze together and then dispenser clogs. Also after I clear out the clumps of ice, the dispenser leaks some water into the glass before the leftover cubes dispense. Do I need to replace the whole unit??
1 Answer Hello Don, thank you for contacting APP, This may be an issue with the Ice Dust Cap/Ice Door ABN72938908 not sealing properly due to an issue with the Ice Door or the Ice Door Motor EAU59551204. This will allow air leakage into the unit and usually causes the Ice Bin to begin melting and clumping. The easiest way to test this is to remove the Ice Bin and pour a small amount of water, a few tablespoons worth, into the ice chute and see if it leaks around the door. Read More...

John November 01, 2023 for Model Number LG LFXS24623S 00 Ice maker quit, I thought it might be frozen solid so I warmed it with a hair dryer to loosen the ice. The ice is loose and if I click it on and off it seems to want to rollover to dump the ice but stops about an eighth to a quarter revolution and returns to the start position. It seems like it is binding but I can't locate the issue. Do I need a new AEQ72910413? Thank you, John
