How to Troubleshoot & Replace Lg AP4631334 / 4681JB1029H Fan Motor Assembly

After watching a few YouTube videos from this company, I was able to diagnose the problem and buy the parts and fix my 12 year old LG French Door refrigerator by replacing the front evaporator fan. 

Replaced fan and motor. Was basically remove the drawers and slides, then remove the icemaker, remove the access panel and disconnect the motor, then pull out the rear panel. Then remove the motor bracket to get access to the motor. Next remove the fan blade and remove the motor. Then reverse the steps to complete the repair. Took about 30 mins start to finish. I've had to replace a few things on this LG and find that its pretty easy to work on. 

I bought a new Evaporator fan motor & fan blade. I had watched the video provided by appliance parts pros which showed in good detail how to make the repair. I’m a little older and not so flexible so it took me about an hour from start to finish. It was a pretty easy fix and I saved A ton of $$ doing it myself. 

After installing fan frigerator froze 

Removed back panel inside the freezer. Replace the fan. Many thanks to AppliancePartsPros.com for ultra fast delivery. Excellent job. 

My son and husband took the back freezer panel off and replaced the old fan assembly with the new part. Easy peasy. maybe 30 minutes total.
