How to Troubleshoot & Replace Lg AP6307959 / AGU75188619 Refrigerator Flipper Assembly

Originally tried to reposition latch and spring and tape in place, but this wouldn’t hold for very long. Then decided the whole mullion needed to be replaced, which I did. 

Replaced the flapper.(Door Support)

Replaced the flapper assembly.

The spring broke in the original flapper. We removed the old flapper and noticed that not only did the spring break, but the wiring harness was fried. I ordered the new flapper and installation takes maybe a couple of minutes. Super quick and easy. Now we know the heater is working and the door operates so smoothly and quietly now. Express shipping wasn't available on this order, but it arrived in 2 days!
