How to Troubleshoot & Replace Lg AP6800730 / AGZ72909711 Pulsator Assembly

I replaced the clutch assembly, the propeller and the transmission. At the end the LE code was fixed by replacing the motor positioning sensor. To replace the transmission was a bit hard as the propeller was stuck heavily onto the shaft and ending up destroying it thus the replacement. Once that hurdle was past, the rest was easy breezy. I had to say that invested a good amount on this repair as this Kenmore Elite top loading washer is still a work horse after 15 years in service. I just love it. I'm not a repair man that does this for a living, but rather a DIY guy who's persistent at it and with the help of appliance Pros and other youtube videos, the task was not as hard to do. I really appreciate the help.

The part fit great and the assembly was super easy. Everything is working great so far so good. 

Replaced the Pulsator and Cap. 

I removed each part. I replaced each part with the new one. Very interesting. I did not know there was a 22mm bolt on a washer. I literally had to buy a 22mm socket. The kicker is, if this nut that pulls the clutch assembly down tight is not correct, this will have to be repeated. There is breath tolerance between the tub and the top tub housing. Pretty straight forward repair. On the handy man scale, 5 being the hardest I give this job 3 out of 5 wrenches. Make sure to clean as you go and torque the bottom NUT on the clutch assembly. 

It went well. I replaced the housing/clutch assembly. I noticed that the new one only uses 3-bolts to mount the stator, where the old one uses 6-bolts. I assumed it was some change made in the design. Hopefully, my assumption is correct. Maybe add a note to the box explaining changes? I spent a lot of time searching the internet to see why there were only 3 threaded holes for stator bolts. I also replaced the pulsator, washer plate because the spline was worn. 

Pop the pulsator cap off, used a large Phillips screwdriver to remove it, bang on it a couple of times to break loose and gunk holding it in place, then lift it out. Easy fix. But be careful not to drop the bolt into the tub [on OEM part]. Because if you do, it will roll into the sump area forcing you to spend a couple of extra hours taking the whole darn thing apart. Seriously, hold onto that bolt tightly. 

ORDERED NEW PULSATOR AND REPLACED ORIGINAL 

Pulled the old one, put the new Pulsator Assembly in, and tighten the bolt.
