The pump gasket had to be replaced along with the filter assembly, mesh. After replacing, which took about 20 minutes, the dishwasher is quiet again. Just be careful taking the water arm off, lift it straight up to avoid any issues. The water arm does not have screws, pops off.
It would be good if the appliance parts pros.com site suggested parts when making purchases. I originally purchased the filter assembly, once removed realized the pump gasket was bad as well.
