How to Troubleshoot & Replace Lg AP5596648 / 3045EL1002K Tub Assembly,Drum

Replaced drum 

Replaced both parts. 

Replace drum. 

Replaced the drum assembly. Took about 30 minutes to go back together. 

Easy repair by replacing the drum. The video here was a huge help in getting it done. Lots of screws that are slightly different so make sure to keep track of where they go. Works perfectly and quietly now. Now what do I do with the old drum?? 

I first thought it was belt or rollers. However after dismantling dryer, I could see the crack in the drum. Followed very detailed and helpful video to replace the drum. Easy project and video was thorough and extremely helpful. THANKS! 

Followed appliance repair video. 

Removed all covers, disconnected all connections, I also changed a drive wheel that had some wear due to cracked drum. Have to give credit to Youtube video for help! 

Purchased drum from ApploancePartsPros.com. I also purchased a new belt, just in case! I watched the video provided on your site. It was verbatim - no issues and the Dryer works like new 

It went well, Although we had to replay the repair video several times to keep the sequence of disassembling & reassembling correct, all in all it was a piece of cake in changing out the drum. Now that we are retired this helped save repair costs & we are very grateful. Thanks Karen
