How to Troubleshoot & Replace Lg AP4445613 / 5220FR2008F Washer Water Inlet Valve

I ordered hot and cold valve assemblies because I didn’t know which one was out. I replaced the hot valve first because it was cheaper and I was hoping It would fix the problem so I could send the more expensive part back. It worked for 2 days and I was preparing to send the cold assembly back. It then threw the code again so I had to replace the cold as well. That was a day ago and so far so good. 

New Water Inlet Valve 

Replaced the inlet water valve on the cold side. Also, replaced the hot water inlet valve because it was the same age and corrosive water will cause the valves to stick open. 

I replaced the hot and cold water inlet valves just like the instructional video showed. No surprises and no problems. Took less than 30 minutes. Now the washer works fine and there's no standing water when I'm ready to start the next load. Saved me hundreds of dollars in service costs. 

Had the valve overnighted it arrived on time and we repaired it!

I replaced the cold water fill valve. 

I replaced this part in my lg steam washer machine. It stopped the valve from leaking inside the door.
