How to Troubleshoot & Replace Lg AP6308239 / AJU75152601 Water Inlet Valve

Replaced water inlet valve. Took less that 10 minutes. 

Ordered new parts with exact original part numbers. Received parts in a few days, which were exact duplicates of the originals. Replace both parts with 20 minutes. Washer fills with more water, and cloths come out cleaner with one rinse, not two as before. 

We watched the video on how to fix the problem. Ordered the parts and they came very quickly. My husband was able to repair the washer without any problems or complications. We are thrilled that we could solve the problem by using your parts and avoid buying a new washer. Thank you! 

Part came in two days and with a little help from YOUTUBE and www.Repairclinic.com , repair was only a fifteen job. My washer is now working. Could have used instructions with part. 

Replaced the defective inlet valve. 

Researched online and there were multiple possible fixes (control board, inlet filter, flow controls, etc). The water would run and run, we would have to shutoff the water valve to get it to stop. We found that when the water was running and unplugged the washer the eater kept running, we ordered the water inlet valve. In less than 5 minutes, we had the new one swapped out and so far (6 loads) no issues at all. 

Had to replace this part to fix a stripped water inlet port. Seems like when the washing machine was originally installed the installer stripped the port and I didn’t catch it. Of course after 5 years, I get the brilliant idea of swapping my washing machine lines with stainless steel on a Sunday evening nonetheless. Received the part 2 days later, and was able to install it within 10 mins after delivery. Thank you for making life easier with your videos. My model was different, but the video gave me enough details to figure things out on my own. 

Replaced water valve mixer and flushed dispenser to remove soap build-up.
