How to Troubleshoot & Replace Samsung AP5183285 / DA97-11117A Refrigerator Ice Bucket And Auger Assembly

Bought a new ice Bucket and Auger Assembly from appliancepartspros 

Have to buy the whole unit, the tray cannot be replaced. 

Replaced Ice Tray crusher with the new one. Took 2 minutes, Took old one that was 10 years old out, sanitized and installed new replacement Simple 

Replaced the entire ice maker tray assembly. That stopped the plastic in the ice, but also made the ice crusher work faster and better. It also appears that the ice maker no longer makes too much ice. I was very pleased with the repair, the quick delivery of the part and the help I was provided finding the correct part number. Thanks 

New ice basket. Lets see if the same problem happen in the future. 

Ordered part put it in. 

Ordered the complete ice drawer/dispenser. Easy fix. 

Ordered replacement Ice Tray Assembly. Ordered on Friday, received Saturday morning. Slid old one out, popped new one in. 

Replaced ice maker tray. 

Ordered bin to hold cubes...some of the plastic in the rear of the bin had broken off.
