How to Troubleshoot & Replace Samsung AP4365989 / DA67-02056A Refrigerator Cap Handle

Put the handle back on 

Removed the cover plates for the drawer handle. I took a picture of the the assembly with my Iphone prior to disassembling the mounting brackets. took each side off one at a time and placed all the pieces in a dish. I installed the new Cap-Handles on the drawer pull. I does take 2 people to reinstall the drawer handle [one to hold up the handle]. I'm 72 and not a repair person by nature I did take note carefully as is disassembled the the bracket on the sequence to replace it. Super fast shipping and great ordering experience. This is now my go to company for any further part needs. 

This must be a common problem. There are videos to fix this on youtube. It literally took me 15 minutes start to finish after watching the video. Handle is like new after these were replaced. 

Ordered parts, watched youtube, changed out parts 

Ordered left and right cap handles from appliancepartspros.com. Parts arrived quickly, I reviewed the comments from other customers on the website and completed the repair in about 15 minutes, good as new.

Yep, somehow our cleaning lady managed to catch a ladder on the door handle and literally pulled the handle right off. This was a really simple fix. Only tool you need is a Philips screwdriver. Though I did use some needle nose pliers to remove the plastic retaining clips from their pocket. Thank goodness the old parts had a part # on them though as the search function landed me on a different part. 

I replaced old brackets with new ones. 

Replaced the brackets and installed the handle. Works great 

Popped off plastic cap on top of freezer door covering access to cap handles. Removed screw on both sides securing cap handle in place. Remove broken cap handles on handle held in place by 2 screws on each end. Installed new cap handles reverse order.
