How to Troubleshoot & Replace Samsung AP4365989 / DA67-02056A Refrigerator Cap Handle

Looked up the parts on your site, ordered, came 4 days later, put the parts on and it was fixed. 

The part that I ordered was exactly the same as the broken part in my refrigerator. Even though I did not pay for the express delivery I received it two days after placing the order. The repair was relatively easy after following the instructions placed by Daniel F. on Dec. 2016. Thanks Daniel. For anyone trying to do this repair I recommend following those instructions. Without them the repair it is not very intuitive. 

Repair kit (second time) is a metal replacement where the wheels are attached. Repair was straight forward with the included instructions. 

The plastic pieces attached to the handle that opened the freezer door broke as I pulled the door open. The hardest part was to figure out how to get to the part. The part is obscured by a plate on top that I found just pulls off. Just unscrewed the part from the handle and attached the new parts, then unscrew the two holders on the door, one white, one black to remove the part, then remove and replace the metal bar that the part pivots on, place the handle in the holders, replace the holder caps and screw in. Finish by replacing the cap.

My husband and son changed te broken part and also changed the other side as well . We needed to buy screws in a hardware store but overall changing it was very easy . Very happy that the problem was fixed .! 

Ordered a replacement part; replaced the part myself. 

Ordered new cap handle brackets, new handles arrived (2 Days!!), removed old broken ones, installed new set. 

Replace bracket. It is a do it yourself project; only need a Phillips screwdriver. Job completed in 30 minutes!!! Need some aptitude for fixing things 

Had to remove top caps and using a Phillips screwdriver was able to remove the plastic retaining clips that hold the metal swivel axles inside the door. Very easy fix, just keep track of the little pieces such as the springs that are inside. The trickiest part in making sure the caps are aligned properly so they fit on the door properly, this means adjusting them first to fit and then tightening the screws.
