How to Troubleshoot & Replace Samsung AP4206426 / DC66-00470A Washer Front Shock Absorber

Shock absorber bad.Replaced 

Replaced all four shocks 

Replaced the inner and outer bearings. Also new water seal. Notice the shock absorbers were not stiff so ordered all 4 new shock absorbers and washer sounds like new 

Ordered both sets of new shocks. AppliancePartsPros (APP) even called me to verify it was the correct part I was needing. Shipping was super fast. Replaced both front shock absorbers: Shaking stopped and loud noise during the spin cycle is gone. 

Disassembled the washer completely and replaced a few key parts. 

Watched the AppliancePartsPros.com videos on youtube. The inner drum is not sloppy inside the outer drum so just changed shocks and springs. Old rear shocks definitely had an inch + of stroke without damping. Probably didn't need the spring change. 

I was convinced that the spider on the back of the tub was damaged. Watched the AppliancePartsPros.com video and decided to tackle it. Turns out that I had misdiagnosed the problem and it turned out to be that the shock absorbers were worn out. Replaced shock absorbers front and back. Reassembled the washer by watching the video and the repair was complete and the problem was solved. I've never attempted tasks like this, so it was more difficult but not impossible. It was very easy to return the wrong parts I ordered, went online and called to arrange shipping through them. (Highly recommended, much cheaper to ship) Parts were OEM and delivered within 2 days. 

Replaced the front and rear shock absorbers. Used the video help that was attached to the parts ordered screen. A great website for finding the parts needed and all the additional assistance from reviews to videos, thank you!
