I looked up the name and parts list for the microwave that I owned. The diagram showed me how to remove the door, remove the plastic shield that hides the latch mechanism and it showed me which part I needed to fix the problem. I just love it when such information is available online.I then went back to the internet and ordered it from Appliance Pros and we received it within a week. The postage cost more than the part, Still well under $10 to repair the problem. I could not be happier! Microwave is as good as new.
