How to Troubleshoot & Replace Samsung AP4224485 / DE64-00760A Microwave Door Latch Hook

Replaced the part and added the spring to it and the door works fine now. 

I replaced the part, like the guy on you tube showed me took about 5 minutes 

I looked up the name and parts list for the microwave that I owned. The diagram showed me how to remove the door, remove the plastic shield that hides the latch mechanism and it showed me which part I needed to fix the problem. I just love it when such information is available online.I then went back to the internet and ordered it from Appliance Pros and we received it within a week. The postage cost more than the part, Still well under $10 to repair the problem. I could not be happier! Microwave is as good as new. 

Part popped up on Internet little hesitant as it was so easy I didn't want to order at first. I ordered anyway as it was a good price. Will product came in 2 days if that, I used butter knife someone else recommended with in five minutes job was done and microwave operational again I can't say anything negative it was a breeze 

Replaced with new part I got from AppliancePartsPros.com and got it very fast and had it fixed within 2 days of it braking!! 

Ordered part from AppliancePartsPros.com and put the new latch in and it fits and works great! 

The appliance part and a screwdriver. Perfect fit! 

YouTube had some ideas. I just wanted to know how to get the trim off to get at the latch. I ordered the parts and they arrived quickly. Microwaves again, thanks. 

Took strip from around microwave door. Took out the broken key D and spring. Reinstall new key D and walla the microwave is working again 

Replace door lick.
