How to Troubleshoot & Replace Samsung AP4135449 / DA31-00003N Evaporator Fan Motor

Tested the refrigerator evaporator fan and it would not run. Ordered evaporator motor and fan blade just in case. I went ahead and replaced sensor just as a preventive measure. Did not take long. forgot to order fan clip, but was able to salvage old one. Works Great. 

Replaced evaporator fan motor, fan blade and Temp sensor. Working perfectly now!!! Wanted to replace thermal fuse too but much more difficult to access. Have some 3/4 in gray foam weather striping tape available in case you need to replace some of it. 

We noticed the fridge was hot and as we removed the inside back cover we noticed the fridge got cooler we could see the blower was not running so we removed it and after finding this site we were able to see the diagram and know we were ordering the proper part. we had NO experience with appliance repairs, the diagrams here helped us alot. the local repair place wanted 100 dollars to come look at the fridge, lol the part here was less than 50. the part arrived within 48 hours of ordering it and the fridge works like new. took us less than 30 minutes to repair ourselves with no prior experience we saved alot of money.

Replaced fan motor & fan . So far so good , cooling I is stabled
