Jason May 13, 2021 for Model Number RB215LABP I am looking for a evaporator fan motor DA31-00003N for a Samsung refrigerator RB215LABP. It has been discontinued. Do you know of a good replacement?
1 Answer Hello Jason, once a manufacturer discontinues a part it is considered no longer available, as we sell only OEM parts we have no substitute part listing. Suggest you can use the motor part number (DA31-00003N) and do an internet search, there may be a third-party source for this part. Read More...
Kazimierz November 26, 2015 for Model Number RB2055SW My refrigerator works when plugged in and will run until it reaches it's temperature and than just shuts off. Once I unplug it from the outlet and plug it back in, it will do the same thing. I already replaced the Main Control Board and the Temperature Senor. I wanted to see if there is any other part that I can replace so it can run consistently. Please advise, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you.
1 Answer Kazimierz, The main control would be the most likely cause for the unit to not come back on even though the main control has been replaced. While it is possible that there could be a start relay that may be failing it would be more likely for the control board to be the issue. Make sure that the control board that you received is the correct one. Read More...

Gary May 04, 2013 for Model Number RB1955VQ/XAA Hi, Could you help to clarify what is the correct static resistance value for R-fan motor (refrigerator RB1955VQ, part DA31-00003N)? My R-fan does not rotate, its resistance is 160 oum or so. Thanks -Gary
1 Answer Hello Gary. The manufacture does not offer resistance values. However, here is how they say to test them. Fridge and Freezer evap fans are 120vac, controlled by a 5vdc door switch, a small resistance in the door switch will cause an intermittent no cool condition. Read More...
Nick I December 29, 2012 for Model Number rbi95bssb My fridge compartment too cold and everything is frozen. Could it possibly be the fan. I open the door and dont hear a fan running. I removed the back panel and see your part number 10. Should there be a fan (blades) on the spindle which sticks out of the back of it?
1 Answer Hello Nick, As far as the fan there is a wheel that has blades on it. This would be on the front part of the fan motor where the shaft comes out of motor. For the freezing in the refrigerator compartment you will want to check the thermistors to make sure that they are not faulty. Make sure not broken and check resistance. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Mary Jo April 07, 2011 for Model Number samsung rs265labp evaporator fan location Thank you for your answer on part. Now I am confused by your details of where the fan is located and what do I have to remove (I assume in freezer section) to get to the defective motor location?
1 Answer Hello Mary Jo. You will need to determine which fan motor is not running. You have one in the freezer and one in the refrigerator. Both of these are accessed by removing the back wall of the refrigerator/freezer. Hope this helps. Read More...
