How to Troubleshoot & Replace Samsung AP6003098 / DG44-01007B Range Triple Burner Element Switch

We replaced the switch/regulator. 

Replaced the burner switch. pull stove away from wall. unplug stove. using a phillips head screwdriver remove 5 screws on back top panel and lift away top panel. pull and remove dial knob from front of stove. remove 2 screws on front. pull away element switch from stove. take picture of element so you will know where all wires should be . unplug wires from bad switch. replace wires on new switch. repeat steps in reverse order. I watched similar repair on youtube videos to familiarize process before ordering part to know how difficult it might be

Replaced controllers behind knobs Open ahead of time to verify numbers on the parts Then went on the line verified. This had the same part numbers Order the parts 3 days later installed Took 8 minutes 

You Tubed the problem that turns out to be pretty common. Ordered the OEM part from AppliancePartsPros and the part was an exact match and very easy to replace. The burner is working fine now. 

Tested it with other burner controls and determined problem. Read online part to fix. Critical point, picture of item and online comparison. Other companies had wrong part listed. As a matter of fact out of first 10 internet listed companies appliance parts is the only one that had the correct part, based on our search criteria. 

I looked on the internet for what could be wrong and how to fix it, i ordered the parts from AppliancePartsPros.com, they were very helpful, After receiving them all I needed was a phillip screwdriver, total 25 minutes to fix.. 

Ordered the replacement. The replacement switch received was the exact match needed. Only requires a Philips screwdriver. screws to removed panel and switch are small and easily dropped and could be lost. I did lose one from under the dial knob holding the switch. 

Purchased the surface burner switch. 

Unscrewed the top back plate, pulled off the knobs, unscrewed the element switch, disconnected all the plugs and plugged them into the new one at the same time, and then put everything back together. less than 5 min.
