How to Troubleshoot & Replace Samsung AP4211487 / DC61-01215B Dryer Idler Tension Spring

I ended up ordering a new belt a new roller tensioning assembly and a spring and I had my Samsung dryer up and running within an hour 

I searched at YouTube and found out about the step by step instructions on what could be the problem and how to remedy or repair it at the appliance parts pros website. also, I was able to correct the assembly on the roller and spring on my dryer. 

It was the belt tension idler bar. your online video fix-it instructions worked perfectly. Thanks for saving me a repair bill. 

I watched the video at appliance parts pros for my model dryer. It’s a great instructional video. I took the dryer apart and found the problem, then ordered the replacement parts. The parts came in two days later. I replayed the video as a reminder then replaced the parts. The dryer was inoperable for two days. Super easy fix. Appliance Parts Pros are great. I will be buying from them again. 

Replaced parts. Ordered parts and received them the next day. 

Replaced - and while at it thought it best just to replace drum belt and tension spring. 

I was hoping the annoying squeak would go away after letting the machine rest from a few days catching up with the household’s laundry. The dryer suddenly stopped rolling and did not make any sounds one day. The internet did not have my specific model video, but I assumed that all Samsungs within the same generation are internally the same, so I went ahead in taking apart the dryer and labeling each set of screws. I examined all the moving parts and noted all the parts that flew off or melted. Then ordered what I thought was needed. Ordering, to parts arriving took 2 days. I can’t believe the inside of my dryer was almost identical to the high end dryer in the video of this website. Took me 45 minutes to an hour. Was a smooth repair. 

Received parts within 2 days. Disassembled dryer with the help of YouTube demonstration and reassembled with one hour.. Dryers works as advertised. 

I ordered the motor thru applianceparts pro website. It delivered the next day but the motor got damaged from shipping. I contacted website and got a replacement motor 2 days later. Install the motor (watch you tube video). My dryer is working. I would highly recommend using this website for parts. I love the quick delivery. 

Replaced thermostat and thermistor sensors. Called Tina w/Parts Pro on Sunday evening she was very helpful. Also replaced belt tension spring. Parts arrived in 2 1/2 days .
