It should beep with nc connection and it wasn’t and replace the heating element. It was still good but had crack in metal so I replaced it also and now everything works just as it should. Was able to remove the heating element housing from the dryer without having to unstack it. Used my meter to determine which component was bad. it turned out to be the thermal fuse. $10 part. Drilled out the rivets like on the video and riveted the new one back in place. Tested out before final reassembly and it worked. Total time spent, 1 hour. Thanks folks for the detailed video.
