How to Troubleshoot & Replace Samsung AP4201892 / DC47-00015A Dryer Thermostat

The video was extremely helpful on appliance parts. There are little tricks to repairs sometimes the average person isn't aware of and the video explained those 

The dryer high limit switch/thermostat wasn’t working. Tested with ohmmeter. It should beep with nc connection and it wasn’t and replace the heating element. It was still good but had crack in metal so I replaced it also and now everything works just as it should. 

Had a friend replace the parts I ordered from you. (this is his job and did this as a favor to me) 

Replaced thermal fuse. 

Your video was awesome. Perfect step by step instructions on my phone while I changed the thermostat. 

To be sure I ordered the 2 thermal fuse, and a dryer thermistor. Thank GOD it worked. seeing now how to fix it the manufacture could made it even easier, by placing two hatches on the two sides of the dryer where you needed place the items. 

I replaced the thermostat, thermal fuse, and heating element. It worked after that. I could tell that the heating element was broken because there was a break in the coils. 

Element worked fine but the fuse and thermostat were faulty 

I went on AppliancePartsPros.com website and was instructed to replace the thermal fuse or the heating element. I replaced both because the heating element looked real bad. I replaced the terminal block as well because I broke it when I was replacing the heating element. Dryer works perfectly now. Thanks AppliancePartsPros.com! 

Watched the video you folks provided several times. Was able to remove the heating element housing from the dryer without having to unstack it. Used my meter to determine which component was bad. it turned out to be the thermal fuse. $10 part. Drilled out the rivets like on the video and riveted the new one back in place. Tested out before final reassembly and it worked. Total time spent, 1 hour. Thanks folks for the detailed video. It was very helpful!
