I had to watch a video online to see how to disassemble the unit. On the outside of the lower ice maker is a little lever that holds the motor assembly in place. Push the lever up with your thumb and the motor slides to the left (frezzer wall). Snap the old tray out and replace with new one putting the sensor, padding and snap cover back the way they came.
The new arm was a simple screw to replace the old broken with a new one.
Now the tricky part, because I was not about to remove the whole freezer drawer. You have to hold the tray in place while sliding the motor assembly back in and keep the tray lined up in the front and back while twisting your self upside down and over a freezer drawer.
If you get that done... simply snap on the unit cover and you are done. It took a long time for the first tray of ice to freeze, however seems to be working normal ever since.
