The bowl was defective, the extrusions on the bottom weren’t distinctive enough and would pop out the base. The beater shaft was loose causing the beater to move up and down. There was a fiber spacer missing. I was a Montgomery Ward appliance technician and I knew exactly what the problem was. I fixed it all in about 1 hour with the parts from this site. All the parts are correct OEM and very reasonably priced and quick shipping. It cost 100.00 to repair.
