How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP5956100 / W10712394 Adjuster Kit

With adjuster kit which was a little bit different than the original part but worked perfectly fine. Part arrived the day after i ordered it. 

I fixed it with the parts I got from appliancepartspro.com. I will never order from whirlpool or kitchenaid again. Pulled off old adjusters and replaced with new. 

The replacement part was great--shipped fast, higher quality than the original junk parts on our Kitchenaid washer. Easy repair for two non-DIY-ers! It did require a star head screwdriver, which I thought was odd. 

Ordered necessary parts. Parts were received the next day!! 

Used the parts purchased from the website. Parts were delivered in 2 days, took all of 5 minutes and a flathead screwdriver to fix my dishwasher, works better than new now! 

Kit contained everything we needed. Followed the Appliance Parts Pros instructional video too which was very helpful. Everything was fairly easy to do. The rack rolls so much better with the metal parts than the original plastic ones. Definitely recommend! 

Installed a new height adjuster on both sides with the help of a Youtube video. Easy and fast fix for that problem. 

With repair kit. 

I removed the old rack and replaced with adjuster kit. This is my third replacement of the same part on a 18 year old dishwasher. This time I replaced it with a metal constructed part as the old plastic design has failed multiple times. The video was also helpful. 

‘This part was easy to install and a vast improvement on the original. It did not come with instructions, but a quick search on YouTube revealed a very easy to follow vid on repair. 20 minutes and your done.
