After watching a you-tube video on replacing the part I ordered from Appliance parts Pro from searching for the part number related to the Amana wash machine. replacement took 5 minutes, but under the old part was a layer of gunk that needed to be removed prior to installing the new part. maybe 10 minutes of using a scraper and wiping out the debris . bolted in place with little or no trouble(video was very helpful). Now the wife is happily washing clothes again. Not only saved paying the appliance store at least $50 the part was also 15 less than the Amana place which didn't have on stock!
