How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP3134037 / 72017 Appliance Touch-Up Paint

Could not level stove. Front leveling legs had pieces broken out where leg contacted floor. Back leveling legs were worn and did not stay at corrected height when stove returned to full weight on floor. Replaced both front and back leveling legs, and stove was able to be leveled. Also bought Touchup Paint for numerous nicks and scratches - color matched perfectly. 

Contacted Kelly at AppliancePartsPros.com, and she got me the link for the right part. Order and was here the next morning. 1/2 hour to install and it works like new. 

I purchased the touch up and now you can’t even tell where it happened. 

Replaced ice chute door. 

Ordered new parts, excellent company. Shipped very fast and everything was just perfect that I ordered. 

I followed the videos posted on the website. 

Used the Whirlpool specific touch up paint. It matched very well. 

Replaced the water inlet valve and cleaned off the rust around the dispenser caused by the leak, then painted with touchup paint. I've done two loads since the repair, and no more leak! As a bonus, I added some screw-on water hammer arrestors made by Sioux Chief, and now the water hammer that would occur every time the valves would close is gone too! Repair wasn't difficult, but cleaning off the rust and repainting with the touch-up bottle made this take much longer as I had to wait for the paint to dry between coats (I decided to put on 3) then waited 24hrs before reassembling everything just to ensure it was fully dry.
