Loud clanking, screeching, and squealing that even closing the laundry room door couldn't hide. I considered changing the teflon or nylon guides also, but they were still in great shape. So I just went for the other parts related to the movement of the drum, including the rear rollers, the idler pulley and the drive belt. For me, the main problem was definitely the idler pulley (Belt tension pulley). Now it all works like new. Make sure to take the time to get the correct parts for your specific model number. I had no issues. On installation, the snap-ring pliers I had on hand were too large. I had to use a small scribe with a sharp point and a small screwdriver to get the snap-rings off. It was helpful to note the routing of the old belt before removal.
