How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6013761 / WP9708172 Planetary Assembly

Installed new planetaria assembly comment I Don't:have a 4or5 after the model number. What number do I use for parts? 

Best to replace all gears due to resultant damage. 

I watched a video on YouTube of the tear-down and putting the gears back together in the right order. I replaced the planetary shaft, along with the gear-case. The bent shaft broke the gear-case, which was replaced as well. Along with replacing the grease. 

I took it apart, figured out what parts I needed, got on line with AppliancePartsPros, looked at the diagram of my mixer, picked out the parts I needed, ordered them and three days later I had the parts. I put my mixer back together and it's working great. 

Replaced parts with new transmission grease 

Very easy took about 15 minutes including removing all the old grease and putting new grease in. 

Wife and I tore the mixer apart expecting to find worn or broken gear of one variety or another. But we were surprised to find all the gears in good shape. We took the planetary out but it looked fine as well. Stumped we thought about it for awhile and realized that the planetary had to be bent in some way though it wasn't obvious.. The following worm gear no longer slid down easily on the shaft so we took a chance and ordered a new planetary. It arrived quickly! We installed it and along with ordering additional grease the Mixer was back up and running immediately! 

I have no problem in fixing my mixer bec. all the parts were perfect and thru diagram you supply to me thru internet I have no problem in analyzing what to do and I did it in one (1) hour. thanks
