How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6015081 / WPW10111435 Door Bellow Seal

I replace the outer drum with bearing all ready installed. I replaced all shock absorbers, drive belt, and drum rubber booth. Thanks to AppliancePartsPros U tube video, the repaired went well. 

Replaced door seal 

Followed the video instructions. Made for a very easy repair. 

The repair went OK, but the bellow seal was not shipped in a flat box, therefore the seal was twisted and and made a little out of round making it more difficult to put in place around the opening. Recommend that any bellow seals be shipped flat packed in the future so as to maintain there original form as much as possible..

Replaced old bellow seal with a new one. I am not handy by any means but was able to easily follow along with the video provided by appliance parts pros to fix the washer myself. 

I replaced the boot and cleaned out the drain. Use the video and saw in the comments about the drain holes in the boot being at the bottom which was helpful. My machine is a duet sport so the screws weren't all T20. It was pretty manageable. I spent extra time cleaning, especially the drain which was disgusting. Machine is working fine now, no water leaking. 

Replaced the door bellows seal. 

Replaced the rubber boot and it seems to of fixed the problem 

I found the exact replacement part on another website, then found it for 20 percent LESS on AppliancePartsPros.com. I reviewed the installation video on the site and then purchased the replacement door boot seal. The part arrived on the second day after ordering. I had already prepared my washer for the install by removing the failed part and after reviewing the installation video again on the AppliancePartsPros.com site I was able to complete the installation with a moderate level of effort. I had to take time to determine the proper placement of the part, making sure the drain holes in the boot were on the bottom and manipulate the two bands which hold the boot to the washer and then to the opening of the washer. Not too difficult, but took some preparation and examination.
