Refrigerator was not cooling properly and repair man came out to do inspection. He quoted me about $200 for the repair which was far more than I wanted to pay for an old refrigerator. He also said it would take 7 days to get the parts. I purchased the temperature sending unit for a fraction of the price and fixed it myself. All I needed was a socket driver to remove screws, wire snippers to cut the old one out and wire strippers to prep the existing connections. I paid 99 cents for a couple wire nuts, twisted it together and replaced the pieces. Only cost me $25 instead of $200.
