How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6014533 / WP99003484 Folding Tine Clip

Placed tines in the upper rack and snapped in place 

Ordered replacement parts from AppliancePartsPros.com. Received them in a few days, and did the repair in less than 10 minutes! 

By ordering the replacement parts. Parts were perfect fit. 

1) Disconnect power. Unscrew door panel. 2) Remove old latch. Install new door latch. 3) Screw back door panel. Reconnect power. 4) Hold down the lock button for 3 seconds to reset the lock condition. 5) Use opportunity to replace broken/worn tines/clips. Appliance Parts Pro are the best for parts and guidance on what to do. 

The handle was broken so I had to yank pretty hard to get the dishwasher to open. I ordered the replacement part from appliancepartspros (and watched their how to video) and it was a quick and easy swap out. The hardest part was finding which breaker switch supplied power to the dishwasher. It works great again and I'm having trouble remembering I don't have to yank hard anymore to open it. 

Removed the original clip and snapped in the replacement. No tools required. 

The first problem was repaired with a new docking station and the second with a new folding tine clip. 

The parts came and they work it like new. Thanks 

Ordered new tines that were delivered in a short 3 days. Installation was easy and tines fit perfect.
