How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP4318657 / W10124096 Refrigerator Condenser Fan Motor Kit

Replaced fan and motor. 

Replaced Fan Motor & Blade, not as easy as tutorial shows but doable, with 1/4" Ratchet & Socket with Magnet insert... Then just takes time & patience getting a hand in that small space.... Works fine now.... 

I ordered the part for the refrigerator. WOW!! It fit. I got on my hands and knees and I replaced the motor. The motor was not in the upper part of the refrigerator it was back and bottom. I was prepared for the worst. I saw a Youtube video on how to fix it and it prepared me for the worst. It said the electrical hookup would probably not be correct. Youtube explained how to cut the cord and splice use wire nuts and then rewire the fan motor. NOTHING was required. Part came in with an electrical adapter. IT was so great!! I was surprised I had the proper tools. I was surprised I had the mechanical ability to take out a part and put one in. I invented new techniques to take off and put in. used magnetic tools. used a hand drill. I saved having to buy a 1100.00 frig. I am so, so happy & proud of what I did thanks to your small part that came in at the right time and with the right connections. Thanks, appliancepartspro.com. It made me religious. Boy did I pray. 

Replaced condenser motor.

Replaced ventilator motor. Excellent research on your webpage and help of support personal to solve particular difficult part of the process of how to get to the place where the ventilator motor is located 

Replaced fan. 

I watched the instructional video on how to repair it, and it seemed simple enough, so I ordered the new fan kit and installed it within just a few minutes. 

I'm not going into my toooo long of an embarrassing story. I will say while you are working on an appliance and plug it in to check it make sure you plug in the appliance in and not the sweeper you had there to clean up.(stubbed) When installing the ice maker make sure you hear a click when you plug the wire into the ice maker. The new ice maker didn't work for two years. While working on the other problem I also fixed the ice maker.(stubbed)
