George G Conroe , TX July 13, 2015 Appliance: Whirlpool Gas Dryer WGD9400SU1 Whirlpool gas "duet" dryer was "dead" no lights/codes previous f 1 I had resoldered the well-known problem point on the Control Board 3 or 4 times (each lasting a month or so), but now the dryer was just "DEAD". A quick check of the boards behind the control buttons showed no visible problems ,,, SO, I guessed the board was finally done ,,, replacing the board brought the machine back to full-functioning life. Removed module from dryer and found burn marks on bottom side indicating a major short happened.
