How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP4501391 / W10295405 Dryer Door Strike

Very simple fix with the right parts 

The catches break. Its just a matter of time. Fortunately I had a spare from my last order. Ordered a couple more to have spares on hand because when they go, the door won't stay closed and the dryer stops working. Last time, I took off the door and took the door apart to replace the catch. Unnecessary. I followed the video on your site this time and with the aid of a putty knife and some masking tape to protect the paint, I had the catch replaced in a couple minutes. 

Insert door strike. 

The 2 parts fixed the problem door stays shut 

Replaced catch and stud and now door stays nice and snug. 

Removed front of dryer and replaced belt and rollers, also pulled dryer door inner skin off and replace door latch. Parts were all OEM everything fit and worked great. 

Replaced door strike and catch. 

I replace the broken male part of the locking latch. 

Order parts and followed the directions from the video provided on website. Very easy to complete task with these great pointers. 

I removed the old catch and replaced it with the new one I ordered. Very easy to do! I should've ordered the parts a long time ago! I was using a hockey stick to shut the dryer!!!!
