How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6010190 / WP660533 Range 8 Inch Surface Element

Got parts and replaced them as per instructions and observation of existing parts. 

Ordered a new one 

Replaced existing element with new one. 

Put the new one in. I was very surprised and pleased at how quickly the part arrived. 

I put in the new heating element and it is working fine. 

We always bought generic pans and elements from local big box store. They never fit correctly. these fit just like when the stove was new, looks better and the pots and pans sit level on the stove. very pleased and Momma is happy.. 

I ordered the parts from appliance parts pro's on Saturday morning, it was delivered on Wednesday the following week. I was very happy with their turn around time. The parts were in perfect condition, packaged very good. I opened the top of the stove and looked at the directions included in the package, read them so I could familiarize myself with the steps I needed to take. I then turned the main oven breaker off outside in the in the breaker panel. I followed the directions and it took about a half hour to finish the project. I closed up the stove top, turned on the outside breaker, and came back inside, installed the burner, turned on the burner to check operation, every thing worked. Job well done. 

I ordered new parts, which were exactly what I needed, and were made in the USA. It only took about 30 minutes to make this repair, using one Phillips screw driver and a wire stripper. My range top looks and operates like brand new. I am very pleased with the quality of the parts, the price that I paid, and the prompt service I received from AppliancePartsPros.com . I will definitely be ordering from them again.

I ordered a new surface element. It was ordered on Friday and I received it on Saturday!! I was very excited because I didn't choose expedited shipping but I received it the very next day. One the element was plugged in, my stove top was back in shape! Thanks for being so awesome!
